High pressure (performance) liquid chromatography is a technique to determine every component in a liquid sample qualitatively and quantitatively. HPLC is a column chromatographic technique with packed solid adsorbents (stationary phase) in the column and solvent (mobile phase) carrying the components through the column. HPLC is used for separation, purification and qualitative-quantitative analysis in many fields like pharmacology, medicine, food industry and agriculture.
